Counselling
Hello
I offer a free (15-minute) online consultation before deciding if this is the right time or if I am the right person for you.
During our initial sessions, we will delve into the issues at hand and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps. Most clients see a lifting of symptoms within the first month and a sustained improvement.

Support
I offer short to medium-term psychological support to help you understand why you feel the way you do, establish what is maintaining the problem and then most importantly, how we might work together to solve this using CBT tools and techniques to help you feel better. Based in Edinburgh, near Edinburgh Zoo, I offer in-person, online remote video sessions or walk and talk at the Botanical gardens and Inverleith Park.

What type of therapy do I use?
I often use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. With CBT, we will examine how your thoughts affect your emotions and behaviour. During treatment, I will help you learn how to push back against those thoughts and change your feelings for the better.
